Some thoughts on anxiety.

It's an emotion.

It's an emotion whose platform is fear. (Fear/anxiety is mostly exogenous or endogenous)

It takes me out of the present moment. Anxiety is the flip-side of excitement and is augmented by anticipation.

We ask ourselves, "Will I be okay no matter what unfolds in my attached daily life?"

If the answer is "No," then your go-to habit (lodged in the body, mind, and/or heart) is a source of attachment or identification.

If the answer is "Yes," (I will be okay no matter what exigent circumstances arise.) Of course, that doesn't mean that the anxiety will "go poof"! It means my ability to let go of the attachment to feeling anxious may change how and to the degree to which the feeling manifests.

Why? Letting go of attachment implies a core being within me that dwells in an eternity in the present moment. But I find I need reminders. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ How come β€” attachment and attachment's father "identification". LOL.

Thanks for eliciting a deeper response to your situation, my friend. Does it help? Or are you already at this juncture? πŸ™
