I found your piece interesting in as much we are animals as much as kinkajou's are. Me thinks you anthropomorphize other animal species that don't have a tool using written language for one. Our "Older Brothers" - indigenous peoples - or native Americans etc. have been closer to other animals and the land for millions of years.

You must have heard of shapeshifting. Yes? This is a way to transfer consciousness into an animal on much the same principle as the avatar. A crow was curious about me, though to this day I don't know why and shapeshifted into my consciousness an me into his and it was very different than anything I had ever experienced before - wondrous - lasting second.
