I have had 25 years experience as a mental health worker in Crisis Mental Health, mostly. I have experience with those suffering from mental health diagnoses. To call anybody a lunatic is disrespectful IMO. People with a diagnosis of schizophrenia are worthy of respect (besides there haven't been any with the diagnosis of schizophrenia that have ever talked about past lives with me). As far as "new age weirdos" I used to judge them as you seem to be doing - but not any longer.
