Thanks for addressing my questions "head-on".

Besides the Ukraine joining NATO thing, Russia/Putin is interested in the raw materials on the land of the nation- Ukraine. So this is as much a Resource War as was Vietnam, and the wars fought in the Middle East.

I think one thing (amongst many) that Americans and perhaps many westerns lack is patience and will go for the quick fight. I'm not completely opposed to supply the Ukrainians with weapons. We need to continue to include humanitarian aid, and that is being done.

I suggest we boycott: Exxon, Dunkin Donuts, American and Delta Airlines, Expedia, General Foods, and Subway to name a few that are still doing business in Russia, for example.
