Thanks for the recommendations, Sadia.
I went through the self-help books in my late 30s and early 40s. With a 46-year daily spiritual practice the last self-help book informed me what I already knew. I selected 3 from your list.
I do take umbrage with Holiday's first book on your list: Ego is the Enemy. The Mindfulness movement has been focused intently on bashing the ego unnecessarily. As a Boomer Civil Rights and ending the Vietnam War were my early concerns. Ego is being mistaken for egoism or egocentric behaviors and narcissistic tendencies. As soon as I think, write, or say the word "I" - the word / concept of self - ego is invoked. Ego is a necessary part to all social interactions and to spiritual work because it creates friction between Essence / True Self or whatever name you choose to give the Inner You and Ego for more inner work.
For a good article on Ego and the translation from the German/Latin of the word Ego and its misrepresentation (from Freud) see: "Why the Ego Became a Cultural PiΓ±ata" on https://medium.com/the-living-philosophy/why-the-ego-became-a-cultural-pi%C3%B1ata-eb29ab330bb4
