Thanks Michael, for the fascinating story. My cat - a ragdoll breed- blue eyes and long hair lived for 15 years. She used to greet me when I came home from work. She did this by standing on her hind legs - wrapping her paws around my left calf and hugging me. It was the sweetest thing and very dog-like.
