The biggest assumption of the Fermi Paradox is a filter of science and technology itself. Are we so arrogant that we assume intelligence can only manifest through a science that produces technology and industrialization?

The stance of our science is automatically divorced from Eco-systems through its reductionistic filters. Science seeks to describe and explain through dividing concepts into increasingly smaller bits of information in order to describe the large whole.

Science, tech and profit are so intrinsically linked that the lens of science gets increasingly smaller and its vision seems more narrow than ever. Could there be a highly evolved intelligence that travels the galaxies without the use of spacecraft, for example?

We humans worship Science and Outward Technology as a religion. Outward Tech must be the only kind of tech that exists. Perhaps this has evolved through the invisible tech of language itself? Human languages are bound by ego and linear spacetime where in each sentence there is a beginning, middle, and end.

Is it any wonder that we are rushing headlong towards an end of the kind of tech that is divorced from the Spirit of Earth. How many extinction events will it take before humans learn this lesson?
