The light we see is either reflected or refracted. In other words we ordinarily don't see light. We humans objectify everything because we see ourselves as separate.

If we were to "see" electromagnetic waves (light is a form of electromagnetic energy) then we might see light as in a sea of light. Therefore light connects if we live in a sea of light.

Taking this a step further. We exude light or electromagnetic energy. We are light. Then there is no connection because we are one with the light. The light is us. and we are light.
