I do understand your approach. It used to be mine when I was in my 20s. And it is still part of my approach now.

There are at least two kinds of knowing.

The common form of knowing is cognitive/intellectual inquiry.

Another form of knowing arises from intuition, emotional acumen, and Being consciousness.

The aforementioned three faculties are channeled through cognitive processing via the self/ego and the technology of language. Language and the singularity of ego automatically reduce to explain, there is no escape from that.

The alternate way of knowing can only touch upon spirit and can not know it fully. Perhaps through Being it can, but the experience of Being can scarcely be put into words, if at all. The limiting of the description of Being nullifies much of the experience. In effect it is destroyed, but not completely. After all, words are symbols of experience and not the experience itself. To use words condenses meaning and destroys the holistic experience.

Nevertheless, The question of a larger purpose is an important question. Destiny is even bigger. Perhaps you've chipped off a facet of spirituality to suit your purposes?
