This seems to be a ubiquitous phenomena.

A year or two ago a woman who sensed I was irritated with her and she with me during a FB exchange wanted me to unfriend her. Lucky for her that she couldn't do it (unfriend me).

I refused. I wrote that it was silly to dissolve a friendship over something so silly. I can't remember what it was. (I was acquainted with her peripherally) Since then we've become better friends in person.

Attachments and identification with ideas, tech has become much stronger. This is the trend now, divide and conquer. It's so boring. I try to stay clear of it and find a middle way.
