This was an enlightening story. In the 1990s I was invited to be on a tv (basic cable) interview show. I was told that I was to be the only person to be interviewed (about my abilities as a psychic). When I got there went through make-up and was stuck under hot lights which’s was intolerable, there were two others to be interviewed on the show. I was completely humiliated- grilled by non-believers and made to feel like a fool. I left early.

So I can completely relate to feeling like a guinea pig. So when a friend and former mentor suggested I’d be tested for psychic abilities, such as telepathy I became silent. He got the message. Like Asher, I refuse to be a pin-cushion for skeptics. My telepathic abilities are blended with empathy. I use them in healing sessions and shut them down outside of sessions. That doesn’t prevent me from feeling/hearing the emotions/thoughts of others if I’m around ebullient and/or chaotic people. I spend a lot of time alone.
