Time is an invention of language and ego. There is no past, present, or future. Even "now" is a concept.

When I turned 40 I experienced Being which can inadequately be described as the context of experience (ego provide the content if that's any help). Being can embrace ego, but ego cannot embrace nor define Being. Nonetheless ego (mine at least) attempts to communicate what Being feels like.

Oh BTW I've been to the void. I only know that I've been there by inference. The void strips all identity away and upon return the superfluousness of ego is stripped away. There is a great danger of catatonia. Going to the void is dangerous. Most people who say they have gone are creating illusion springing from ego.
