My old boss had a near death experience at age 12. She said she went to a train station in line with others who had passed. She sat before a committee and was asked the two questions in italics above. Afterward she was asked if she want to go back or stay in the afterlife.

Since she decided to come back they told she would have to endure severe physical difficulties. She is - having to do with very little sleep at night and very poor digestion.

When you feel chronically depressed that can be the worst thing. The path of least resistance (often downward) becomes a purpose. This is a shadow or a dark purpose. If you ever felt love from another or loved another - focus on the feeling - not the circumstances of that past. Continue to do that earnestly for 57 weeks at least twice a day if not more.
