Obama was a centrist (a moderate Republican from the stance of 70s politics). He did what he could for the middle class - greatest achievement IMO was the ACA and joining/foster the Paris Climate Agreement. However, while he visited Flint, Michigan he abandoned working class blacks in favor of Corporations. He might as well not have gone.
