Also, I used to be just like you in the sense that I was highly analytical. When I was in my early 20s a friend remarked: "That is so spiritual." and I responded:

"Define spiritual." Now I find that remark of mine hilarious.

My not sure looking at your astrological chart will neccessarily help, but it may. There may be something I can recommend.
