You have written a brilliant piece that poses some interesting questions and has some assumptions - at least in my opinion.
(1) What if there are other humanoids beyond Earth? (I have experienced a few non-Earth humanoids btw and "aliens" that are non-humanoid too).
(2) What if the multiverse is already awake?
(3) Is it not arrogant to think reality consists of only two parts? In other words besides the Observer and the observed which assumes a "set" would there not also be a field of possible observations that we never observe? (or a field of observerable sets)? Or the never observable? If we are to cover all bases- an assumption on my part
