The smudged Turquoise Diva waved her arms again and a stone table appeared out of nowhere. Laden with all manner of food and drink especially for the two of them. Hidden and separate from the others.
His Diva swept along the table and, using a wide leaf as a scoop, piled foodstuffs on her plate. She drew a goblet of dark red wine from a jug. Gren followed her example.
They ate and drank and laughed with the others.
“Look here, Gren,” his Diva pulled him close. Intoxicated from the wine he gazed confused and off-kilter at small fleshy tan and brown ears. They appeared as ears — laid out on the table. And coiffed in large green leaves.
