Timel oversaw sixteen men in the field planting wheat.

These were new fields that Timel’s owner, Rawl, commanded outside the realm of his farm. Eight guards stood watch with rifles pointed to the north. Timel said they were to protect the workers against incursions from a rival farm. But Gren knew differently.
