“I have won.” The Turquoise Diva shouted with glee. “Gren of Light is gone! Gren of Dark has united with me. My people come unto me!” the Diva Azura, once Queen of the Turquoise Realm, proclaimed.

“What is that infernal buzzing?” Azura complained. “Cease and desist now! I command thee!”

The buzz ceased.

One of her two trolls approached. He handed her a scroll. “From the group calling itself ‘Meeker Camp,’ High One.”

She read the scroll and nodded to her slave disguised as a villager.

“What are we to do now, Father?” Horace asked.

“Stand firm.” Zol puffed up his chest and exhaled. “Stay grounded. Exercise patience.”
