Wanderer felt a chill in the air, and his face and body braced against it. A large sheet of canvas fell or blew from the treetops. It hit him in the face and wrapped around his head and upper body. He laughed as he twirled in a circle, fell, and rolled down a slight grade over ground cover. The devas of the ground cover giggled with his laughter.
A gift from the Pearl of the World and the Great Mother, he thought. Thank you, he bowed to them both as the canvas fell off his face.
