“This life you have here is good,” Green spoke with his renewed voice. Meanna was nearby. He had been napping after a midday meal energy exchange.
“You speak! I am so happy.” They hugged.
“Might is a great man, and I love him dearly. When you were him, I loved you just as deeply.”
Green blushed, his skin flushing darker green.
“You brought a sweetness that he lacks.” She kissed Green’s forehead as if he were her child.
“Thank you. I am honored. There was a moment when I hesitated when I wished to stay here with you and the children, but I remembered the Green Man. I never dreamed that I would find him inside of me.”
