Brief Recap:
The people, crazed in the darkness, had been busy. Shoving the sheriff and Might’s guard out of the way, they dragged a wide board over to the stocks, letting it plop into the dirt and dust. Several of them broke Green out of his chains and forced him onto the board, lashing down his arms and legs.
Lines from higher up the mountain were threaded through eye-rings at each end of the board and tied fast. At a signal, Green lashed to the board and was transported by a small team. He ascended hundreds of feet through the air, crashing into the cliff face. The next set of handlers took Green higher. Another set of men dragged Green on his board to the next leg. A third team secured him…
