Previous Chapter:
As the small group approached the top of the rise above the southeast passage, they found their path blocked by a wide lava flow. Might and Zim carried Green in a hammock as the second man stopped at the rise. He shouted back:
“We have a problem!”
Meanna scurried beside him while Might followed. Zim set Green down.
“Meanna.” Green struggled to speak. “Do you feel it?”
“What? What, Green? What did you say?” She leaned over him.
“Do you feel it?”
Meanna closed her eyes. “Do you mean the water?”
”Yes, the fountain of water over there,” Green’s right arm shot up and pointed in the direction but then dropped, inert.
