The monkey creature flung Gren into a nest. He sighed with relief, fleeting, though. The nest was a snare. The more he struggled to free himself, the more he felt trapped. Two monkey creatures descended from above and released the nest. It descended at a slow pace through vines, rolling until it came to a stop on the forest floor. A single golden ray from the setting sun picked the nest to shine upon.
A blessing, he thought as the light warmed him.
“You fools, release him, he is not a prisoner!” The smudged-turquoise-skinned Diva shouted.
The monkey creatures screeched and fumbled with the nest.
