Green ran across the lush meadow as flower buds popped open to greet him. He stopped to say hello to their lovely faces and smiled.
“I’m so happy that you opened and said hello to me,” he said.
The flowers and their devas said, “We’re so happy that you’re happy. Happy, happy, happy.”
He felt so happy he lagged in awareness that he was dancing round and round. “I’m dancing round and round, you sweet flowers.” And he giggled.
“I didn’t know / I could feel so happy,” he spoke in dance rhythms and laughed. He skipped to a group of rocks by the three enormous trees with the black fruit.
